Christmas Spirit

Hello again!!!  I hope everyone had a great weekend!  My weekend was good.  We finished decorating the inside of the house, and took Landon to see Santa.  A good friend of mine invited us to an event with her reality company where they do free pictures with Santa, and then a movie.  We watched Tangled.  Landon did pretty good he slept until the last 5 minutes or so then woke up and watched the rest of the movie.  It was a cute one!  Here is our tree lit up.  The lights blink so i was not able to get them all at once being on.  We have been debating on adding some red to it, we had some cute bulbs given to us that are red and silver with snowflakes. I think they are adorable but not sure how it would fit in with the blue and white.

I finally figured out what to do with the wall/area right as you walk in our front door.  It was so plain and boring.  With a little help from Gina this is what it turned out to be.  The house has a light in it and the tree in the back is tealight.  It shines stars on our wall when lit.  I think it looks great and was thankful Gina helped me come up with something for all of it! The Santa picture is adorable that was given to me.  It just went so well with all of it.

I was able to get my husband out to start putting up the out side lights.  Landon and i supervised.  I was bummed because i was not able to get a good finished picture.  My camera does not do well with Christmas lights for some reason.  I have tried different settings but maybe i just haven't found the right one yet?  Anyways if i can get a good picture ill get blogged.  I think our house looks good.  My husband wants our house to be an eye sore to others.  He wants a TON of lights to where it lights up the neighborhood.  Thats not happening though.  Our electric bill would be crazy high. Below is a picture of our mantal.  We have silver garland and blue lights mixed together and some other cute little things sitting up on it.
I have been so excited to decorate, and im now happy im done.  It seems like its a long process getting everything the way you want it.  I took Landon for his 6 month appt on Wednesday, he has gained 3 pounds and grew 2 inches.  He is getting so big.  While at the doctor he was telling us how he was going to start catching onto so much and learning to do things.  That day alone he started walking around in his walker, he now scoots back wards trying to crawl.  He has a toy that when you twist it it makes and noise and he figured out how to twist it..He keeps learing so much, soon he will be walking and crawling.  I have finally been able to finish up a pair of pants im making.  They are for my mom.  Im hoping to get my dads done so i can send off a box to them soon.
For some odd reason i have been having horrible headaches, it has been going on for the past week and a half i would say.  I dont know what is causing it, but i took my contacts out and got new glasses hoping to solve the problem but it has not worked so far.  If it doesnt get better ill prob. have to go back to the doctor.  For now though i need to finish up in the kitchen, im making home made cookie..mmmmm so good :)  and i need to get my little one to bed.  I hope everyone has a great Monday!
